Current projects:
With the support of Norwegian People’s Aid, we are undertaking research on the CSR policies and practices of the oil sector in South Sudan. The objective is to understand companies’ motivations for conducting CSR, and the implementation challenges of community engagement in the newly independent country, as a first step towards supporting the oil sector, government and civil society to build a sector that benefits the economic and social development of vulnerable and conflict-affected communities.
